Identification and Platform: The number 018068 is Rheem’s reference for the P-M264A-EN-C model of the AVIA series by Raypak, with a capacity of 264,000 BTU and natural gas fuel. It corresponds to the copper heat exchanger version (the high-resistance NiTek version has a different part number).
Performance and Efficiency: Residential pool and spa heater with 84% thermal efficiency and Low NOx certification (low nitrogen oxide emissions). Water connections are 2 inches and the gas connection is 3/4″ NPT.
Compact and Lightweight Design: Weighing under 140 lbs (63.5 kg), it is significantly lighter than traditional heaters in its category. Its 2×2 ft base allows installation on a standard equipment pad, facilitating replacement and installation. The top panel with controls can be rotated into 3 positions for greater installation versatility, with water connections on the right and left and configurable gas connections.
Integrated Smart Control: It is the only heater on the market with a smart control system built directly into the unit, without the need for an external control panel. It includes built-in Wi-Fi that enables real-time service alerts and remote control from anywhere through the Raymote app. It allows management of water temperature, smart scheduling (it learns the pool size and notifies when the desired temperature is reached), and the Smart Operation Manager to control the heater, a pump, or an accessory (lights, waterfalls, etc.).
