This is the version with the NiTek heat exchanger, a high-resistance alloy designed for greater durability. A copper heat exchanger version exists with a different part number.

The NiTek exchanger reduces scale formation by more than 50%, is 300% more resistant to erosion than copper and 200% more than cupronickel, with 900% more nickel on critical surfaces.
